The Pumpkin Patch

This morning we left the house around 9am to get to Easton just before 10am. (right when the farm opened) Luckly I listened to Kenn who told me to bring the heavy jacket for B! It was very windy and cold, but I think he had a blast. He LOVED the corn box. (a box with corn instead of sand) he didnt want to leave that area.

Going down the slide

His second favorite thing had to be this huge jumping area. He had to climb up on his belly...

But then after a couple minutes and watching the other kids he got the hang of it. This makes us want to have his Bday party back at the jump place again... After a little bit they had him and the other toddler get off so the big kids could get on, but brandon wouldnt come down, so the teenager that worked there had to go up and get him.

then we went over to the pumpkin patch

But then he preferred to pull the wagon

after we picked out our pumpkin it was too heavy for him to pull the wagon. (he kept trying to take the pumpkin out)

We had a great time! Now we just need Kenn to carve it!

I've already run out of song lyrics

For those who hadn't figured it out yet, every title i've used so far has been a song lyric. Well i'm either just too tired now, or i've already run out of them :)

Brandon had a cold for about 2 weeks and it turned into a sinus/ear infection last week. His ear began draining at daycare so when i picked him up that night we had to go to Patients first to make sure he wasn't bleeding from his ear. (it was just the infection making it drain)

But otherwise he never complained of any illness. He's now liking antibiotics, which im not sure if its a good or bad thing. (he says "mmm" after taking it)

We're super excited for Halloween. Last weekend we went to the Kinderfarm Fall Fest and met up with some friends Cindy, Tim and their son Ryan.

Brandon & Ryan. (Ryan is 1 month older then B)

We had a great morning there, perfect weather! We had warm apple cider, popcorn and cookies! We got to Play on the playground with lots of other kids, see farm animals

Chickens...

Brandon was fascinated with the Silo...

And Brandon even got to paint a pumpkin! (although he painted us in the process)

That afternoon we took Brandon to JCPenny to do his Halloween pictures... he didnt like that very much. He just wanted to leave. We were able to get 2 good pictures. I'll put them up next week when they come in. But we tried the next day and Kenn was able to do wonderful ones on his own! You will notice that there is a maraca in the pictures... thats the only way he'd stay still long enough for a picture!

Tomorrow we are going to the Eastern Shore to go to a pumpkin patch & visit Brandon's new friend Noah Wilkerson who was born 10/10! We'll have those pictures up soon!

It's all happening at the Zoo

Good Morning!

I figured that I would go over whats been going on the last couple weeks for our family... for those who remembered last Sunday was our 6 year Wedding Anniversary! Kenn & I went to Fogo De Chao in Baltimore! My father went there in Brazil and several other people that we know have been to the Baltimore location, and they were absolutely correct about how great it was! If you love steak then you HAVE to go there!

Otherwise September was pretty calm. My mother took James,
Kenn, Brandon and I to our annual trip to the Baltimore Zoo.

While the goats were nice to pet, Brandon had a better time picking up the gravel on the ground in the pen. It's amazing how much he's grown from last September! here's the picture from his first goat experience last year at the Zoo.

Those are the biggest highlights from September 2008. We do have Brandon's 18month picture to put up but my friend has my copy still.

We are very excited for October! 3 Baptisms, 5 Birthdays and a new baby about to be born (anyday your ready Mr.Wikerson!) We are also VERY excited for Halloween! I put out our trick or treat pails to try and get B used to holding them. He should be having his costume photo shoot soon also (we have to wait for his nose to heal, he looks like he stopped a car with it)

Once again thanks for taking the time to check out our new blog and have a great weekend!

Let's start at the very beginning,a very good place to start...

Well it looks like every 2 years or so I find a new place to Blog! So this will be my 4th site???
The reason for this move...well I know at least 4 people with this type of blog, I think it looks much nicer and its great to have all the pictures WITH the story. Plus it makes more sense that i can talk about normal life here instead of just B. (although lets face it, our lives are mostly just about B)

Speaking of... Tonight is Brandon's first Daycare Open House, and while I'm at that my Mother, Kenn & B are all getting their haircut. (I didn't schedule it like that on purpose but it is rather convenient)

Enjoy the fall weather have a great weekend!
