Happy April... in three days~

We’ve had another great weekend, and this one we were lucky enough to spend some time with my Godson Connor! Thursday night I got to baby-sit Connor for the first time! I can’t believe he’s 7 months old already! These kids just need to stop growing … So of course I brought my camera to steal some pictures of my favorite nephew!

Friday night we had another family movie night (the 3 of us) Brandon stayed up late and watched Finding Nemo. Sat. was brandon's last gym class. I'm kinda sad about that, but now that its warmer we can just take him up to KinderFarm instead.
Today we went to my parents country club (whom my cousin & his family also belong) and went to the bunny brunch.
Well Brandon did not do so well with the Easter Bunny this time, this is basically his reaction:

The second one with Kenn is a close up of it. Anytime he saw the rabbit he would bury his head into your chest and squeeze with all his might and give him the evil eye. So because of that he refused to eat (the rabbit hung out in the room a lot). So this is what brandon had for lunch

And b/c that wasn't enough he started eating my brownie when i wasn't looking

But the rain started to stop so while the magician was on we hung out on the balcony.

GrandRuss and Brandon on the balcony (pic was through a window)

Although he didn't like the rabbit he did like the candy rosary he got from him.

Another picture of Connor :)

Courtney was nice enough to let me steal Connor for this Picture
Finally we were able to go to the Easter Egg Hunt. Here I am trying to hold a 2yr old back from a yard full of Easter Eggs

I think he was disappointed there weren't more to get. But he had a really good time. They put goldfish crackers in the under 2 eggs, which was perfect! I'm pretty excited about Easter Morning and him doing that in our house :)

Then after we got home and he refused to take a nap, we ended up going out since it was so beautiful outside. This is brandon on his Diego bike that Aunt Gail gave him for Christmas. We went around the whole neighborhood last week, today we got to the end of the street and 1/2 way back before he walked the rest of the way. But he defiantly loves his bike, so i think between that and his daredevil-ness he's going to be just like his dad doing bike dirt jumps! ugg i can't wait!

Yesterday our niece Olivia turned one! Next week is her birthday party @ pump it up, and if the weather is on our side Sunday we're going to the DC zoo and hopefully can see some Cherry blossoms. so I'm sure we'll have more pictures then!

My Big Boy!

Whoo I look at the calendar and I can't believe how fast time goes! So much has happened this month already! Here's the 2nd picture from Brandon's "puttin on the Ritz" school pictures
My good friend Kim had her beautiful baby daughter on March 3rd! I finally got to go visit them this week!

Here is Miss.Ellie Bower!

Then we decided Brandon was getting too big to suck his thumb so we put band aids on his finger and just kept on top of him and 2 weeks today he's pretty darn over it! We just have to watch him, and he occasionally puts the tips of his other fingers in there, or a blanket but he's pretty much *knock on wood* done :)

And then LAST sunday Kenn put up brandons regular door and then that started us baby proofing the drawers on his dresser (so he wouldn't climb them when open) and that turned into converting his crib into a toddler bed! He's done awesome with it! Really hasnt been much of a difference from his crib. He's very proud that he can get in and out of it though ;)

Here's what the big boy bed looks like!

Then last night Gail was wonderful enough to take Mr.B and have a sleepover so I could go to Kenns latest show. Recast played "the Quarter at Bourbon St"

March also begins the start of our birthday season, lots of parties coming up, so we'll be very busy with those for the next several weekends. We're looking forward to egg dying with Grandmom, and going Easter egg hunting at the club with Grandmom/GrandRuss, Uncle Colin, Aunt Courtney and Connor. And we cant forget the Easter Bunny!

We also bought our pass to the Anne arundel county parks and spend last weekend there 3 days straight, so hopefully the weather will get warmer so we can play outside again.

Brandon's New Truck

Brandon got a new toy last week! A John Deer Dump Truck! One of Kenn’s VERY generous coworkers (that has two older children who have grown out of it) John was so very nice to give it to us! (I do think kenn may have been almost more excited then Brandon was to get it)

This is him seeing the truck for the first time

We think he likes it

I put holden in the back, and while that lasted a whole 40seconds, brandon kept calling him and telling him to get back in his seat.

A cute picture of us b/c i can :)

Feb Gym Class

Since I’m home on this beautiful snow day and brandons taking a nap, I figured I should put up some pictures I was behind on. This picture of Gir Kenn took this morning when we were all outside playing.
Brandon attends a gym class on Sat mornings called “rollie pollies” here in SP. Now everyone asks "exactly what is a 2yr old gym class?" I now can show you! (BTW these pictures are from the beginning of feb, so pre haircut)

He loves to bounce down the "jumping track". (well that's what i call it)

We have circle time and sing songs

We build up our leg strength by kicking the balls

and climbing

He actually doesn't really like the foam block pit, the real purpose of this area is for the larger kids to do flips into it

Brandon on the rings, which he still hasn't quite got the hand of yet.

Now the last 10 minutes or so of class they blow up this big inflatable bouncy area with a slide, and they put out this little car - coaster thing. Brandon tends to have little tantrums about sharing the coaster though
He also love, love, LOVES to do forward rolls and climbs on lots of other stuff that builds balance. He absolutely adores gym class and we love having that special one on one time with him on Sat mornings~

Sticky hands 2: the revenge
It takes MULTIPLE people to contain the stickiness that is Brandon

Yes I love Cake!

After that Brandon forfeited opening his presents to go back out and get rid of some of that sugar energy. We then went home and opened the gifts! Once again Brandon was very very spoiled! And he appreciates every minute of it! Thank you to everyone that took the time to come out and play with us~
