What's up with B

Well in one month my son will be 3!
That in itself is crazy enough... We've had a ton of things I've been
meaning to update so lets start with the new big accomplishment.
I think i can officially say brandon is potty trained!
(now that its in print he'll prove me wrong)
We started back in the early fall, and things just weren't aligning
(teachers, colds, brandon)
So early Dec Brandons teacher and I talked about it and Kenn and I put him in
big boy underwear 12/24! (so i'd have the 4 days to work with him)
We haven't looked back since! He has maybe 1 or 2 accidents a week now
and they are always at school. He tells us when he has to go and he can hold it for several hours.
B also had his first school "concert".
last week daycare had their "Winter Gala" where each grade sang a song
and they had one big class song.
We are waaayyy in the back of the class so the pics kind of suck.

This is the big class picture, although the only kids that sang were the school age ones.

This is part of the 3's class during their song.
The only child that sang was one of the girls

B did do all the hand motions, this is him melting.
After we got home that night i asked b if he knew the song,
he proceeded to sing the entire thing.

Daddy took a pic of b and his drums

B has also found his 5th sport...
He loves, soccer, football, baseball, golf and now

BASKETBALL.
We finally set up his basketball hoop from Uncle Bryan & Aunt Cathy and he LOVES it.

And yes this is him MAKING a basket from across the room.
I know i'm his mom, but i swear he's awesome at all of these sports.
I deff think the athletic gene skipped me and went straight to him.

This past weekend wasn't one of Brandon's best.
Sat he was very sensitive about things and he told me his ear hurt in the AM.
So i cleaned it with a Q-Tip and just figured i'd watch it.
well by the PM he was still talking about his ear so we took him to patients first after dinner.
Turns out he has an ear infection in the ear that the tube fell out of.
So we had to find a pharmacy open at 8:30pm and he didn't get to bed till 9pm.
Today the fever set in, and he didn't eat much.
(although this AM he was outside playing golf with kenn in the cold at 10am, go figure)
but as the day progressed you could deff tell he was sick.
He also had an incident with the stairs so now his nose looks like hell.
I guess we'll see tomorrow if its black and blue.
I have a feeling we will be home sick tomorrow.

I'll end with a picture from earlier in the week while we were playing basketball.

B & O Train Museum

Last Sat my Mother, Kenn and I took Brandon to the B&O Railroad Museum
It was the first time we'd taken him there(Kenns first time too)
and we weren't sure if it would keep his interest.
When we first walked in, the museum was a little dark
and that kind of scared him, and i think everything being so big he was a little nervous.
But he quickly got over it and began to run around like a crazy man.
The picture above is us entering the round house.
First looking at the model trains

"This behind me is a train"

Changing the times on the clocks that i had just set.

Brandon hopping down the isles next to an old car
(i know nothing about cars OR trains)

Then we got to go on a real train ride.
B was very excited about getting his own ticket.

The conductor took our tickets and punched a train shaped hole in them.
He carried around that ticket for most of the day.

The roof of this amazingly beautiful new Roundhouse ceiling.
It was also sad to see the broken trains that are still there.
for those that didn't know the story...

"On Presidents’ Day, February 16, 2003, amid a record-breaking snowfall, one half of the Museum’s massive roof collapsed. The collapse occurred as a result of the weight of drifting snow on the western side of the building. Eyewitness accounts depict the drifts nearly six feet in depth. The first alarm was received at approximately 11:40 PM on February 16th. Museum officials responded to find two sections of the 22-sectioned roof collapsed. Two more sections fell on the opposite side of the building around 5:30 AM the following morning. The remaining seven sections caved in before 9:00 AM on the 17th. As a result of the roof collapse, tons of snow, slate, wood, and cast iron fell upon some of the most historic and important locomotives, rolling stock, Pangborn models, and small artifacts in the Museum’s collection.
Work on restoration of the Roundhouse and rebuilding the Museum began immediately. Following a 22-month effort and a heroic fund raising campaign, the Museum reopened to the public on November 13, 2004. New and expanded visitor facilities and public programs were unveiled and an on-site, state-of-the-art locomotive and rolling stock restoration facility was designed to restore the damaged collections"

We definitely plan on going back! Everyone had an amazing time.

Moorhouse/Harrison Christmas

So I went to look through my pictures online here and I realized
with everything going on in December I had completely forgotten to post pictures
from the annual Moorhouse/Harrison Christmas!
We were lucky enough to have my cousin Colin & his wife Courtney
and my Godson Connor up from Alabama
along with the rest of my MD family that we just don't
get to see as often as we'd like.

Brandon and Connor playing

I suspect this will be the first of MANY golfing occasions
for these two...

Showing their musical skills on my parents piano

Me and my Adorable Godson :)

Connor also loves playing catch with the football

(as you can see on his facial expressions)
