This past Sat Kenn, B, my SIL Teresa & niece Olivia all squeezed into 1 car
at 7:30am and went to Philadelphia to the childrens museum together.
I originally went to this museum as a child myself with my Mother & Grandmother.
(Although located in a different place in Philly at that point)

This is the front of the museum.
Memorial hall is one of Fairmount Park's most recognizable landmarks and the only major building left from the 1876 Centennial Exposition.
It served as the city's art museum until 1928 and was dedicated by president Ulysses S. Grant.

It had several cars (fake and real) kids could play with
Next we went to the "Space" area.
It had a lot of hand and foot cranking machines.
(there are feathers inside of this and when you turn the handle they float)
This is b's 2nd favorite thing of the day.
He's turning a wheel crank and a ball is going up the conveyor (on the right)
after it reaches the top it falls and spins down the winding track.
He did this for like 10mins straight. He didn't want to stop.

It was REALLY neat. It was basically a mini grocery store.
All the kids got shopping carts and had a ball.
Hospital, McDonalds, Post Office, Shoe store, Brick area?
well that's the area Brandon played in. hehe
"all the parents want there kids to play in the Dr area" haha
Next we went to the Alice in Wonderland area

THIS is B's favorite part. Throwing the croquet ball through the cards.
Below is a picture of the next area the "Water Zone"
(BTW I'm making up all these area names...)

We then had snacks and went on the carousel.
B didn't really want to get on at first but then after he did he loved it.
We had lunch at the museum which was surprisingly inexpensive and not bad.
We also went to the gift shop (for once not my idea ha!)
And this is B with his football that he picked out.
