B's Day's Out

This week B got to go out on two special outings with Daddy & Mommy.
Last Sat I went shopping with my mother for the AM, and Kenn took B out
to a "surprise" Bowling!
Everytime we drive by the alley now B points at it and says "my surprise"!

He loves bowling so much on Wii and his toy pins Daddy took him to duckpin bowl.
He loved it! They both had a great time, and we look forward to all going together.

Kenn loves the lean :)

Then since this is my last week home I took B out on a "date" to the aquarium.
This is us leaving the house

B and the Seahorses
B and the Grouper (i think)
B and the Clown fish
We went into the rain forest and i was SO excited b/c we got to see something
I've Never seen.... the sloth moving!
And man he was hauling! He climbed up the branch and climbed onto the
metal fence that keeps the birds in. I was fascinated, but B wanted to move on.

B with his 2nd most fav. part the tree frogs. we actually went twice to see them.
I know i'm not suposed to use a flash but i was lazy and didnt feel like figuring
out how to take it off.

Jellyfish~
And our favorite part the dolphin show.
He REALLY enjoyed it this year.
He loved that the dolphins played with basketballs and jumped.
We had lunch and then went and got ice cream in the harbor center.
B liked turning the wheel by the U.S. Constellation.
Of course B picked out something... a submarine this time!

The 4th of July

We had a fantastically busy 4th of July weekend so this post is extra long.
(blame it on the cuteness that is my son in pictures)

We got back from the beach Sat, Sunday was the 4th and B wanted to get outside
( like everyday) and so we got out the pool and the boys washed Daddy's car.

B quickly learned that the hose is MUCH more fun then the sponge

It was so nice we let the dogs run around the front yard

My son squirted me dead on the legs with the hose... then a little later Kenn did the same.
so at that point i was already wet so i got in the pool with B

After nap time we met up with our Friends Jason & Erin for the BaySox Game.
(a first for B and I)

Mr.Jason, Daddy and B

It was very hot for the first 3 or so innings, then the shade hit
and we were golden the rest of the time.
B did great, he sat through the whole game!

They had a kids section so B hit a ball off the air tee.

Then we let him pick out his own baseball

We bought cotton candy, which he is willing to lick but not bite.
I was trying like all night. so i gave up and gave him the stick to let him lick
(b/c i was not holding it and getting my hands sticky)

This is B's "New Jersey" face. Kenn taught him it after the SNL Gov Patterson sketches.
I know it begins already...

By the end of the game he was yelling "GO BAYSOX"
Above is a pic of him yelling that.
They did win in the 11th inning 6 to 5.
After we got to see fireworks.
(b's first)

He did really good, since he doesn't like loud noises we gave him ear plugs
and kenn also put his hands on b's ears. He likes naming the colors

After THAT they let the kids run around the bases on the field.
It was pretty awesome.

Daddy and B about to go out onto the field

Daddy and B running to second base

Onto 3rd

Home plate!
Where he even high fived "Louie" whom he wanted nothing to do with at the game.

Daddy & B doing their "new jersey" faces.
We had a FANTASTIC time at the game!

This morning we rounded out the weekend with a little pool party.
Cousin Olivia came over with uncle Tim and aunt Teresa to play.

Rounded out with a cookout at my parents.
Kenn went to bed at the same time as b (7:45pm)
We hope everyone had independence days that were great like ours!
Happy Birthday Mr.Jason & Uncle Colin!!!

Leticia's Wedding

Thursday night 6 of us drove up to Atlantic City for the night and then on Friday continued to Cape May for Leticia & Greg's wedding.
For those who don't know, I've known Leticia since about 1st grade.
Sharon and Juli became friends in elementary school also;
and then we all became best friends in middle school.
During Jr year of high school the 4 of us became friends with Amy.
We've all stayed pretty close even though 3 out of 5 of us have moved out of the state.
