SummerTime Fun

B went to a pool birthday party with his school friends
2 weeks ago and he had a blast.
This time he IMMEDIATELY ran straight into the water right up to his neck.
*I* was the one like, um is he ok by himself Kenn?

He did fine but then he wanted to climb on the floating rafts
so we put him in his floaty.

He loves to jump in the water. He was even jumping by himself
so he'd go underwater and his suit would pull him back up.

He didn't want to leave the pool!
The next day we had another birthday party for my Godson Connor.
B loved the pizza, milkshakes and video games.

Carnival 2010

Last night we took B to the Summer Carnival with
Uncle Tim, Aunt Teresa & Olivia.
Brandon has been asking to go to the carnival since LAST summer...
B was SO excited that he refused dinner (and the promise of dessert later)
The #1 thing he wanted to do was the fish ping-pong toss.

Daddy won him a fish, which is now in his room and is named "Diego"
(not to be confused with Diego the bear or the cartoon boy)

They also played the goldfish game and a ball toss and the water squirting race

Then it was time for the rides!

Above is the first car ride, below is the second car ride (a completely different ride)

You'll never guess what B's favorite color is
Or who picked out each car they rode.

Then they went on the flying dragons
B was scared at first, but after he got on it he loved it and said
it was one of his favorite rides.

His other favorite ride was the helicopter (like last year)
although Uncle Tim got to go with him this year b/c
Olivia was just a little to short to go on by herself.
You can see the excitement in Tims face...

Then the dads took the kids onto the "fun house" area.

One of the last rides was this car ride.
None of us realized these cars were different.
When the kids went around the sides of the oval it would whip them around.

Olivia did NOT like it, poor girl! She was crying
and Brandon liked it but thought it was too loud so he had
his hands on both of his ears which meant he wasn't holding on so he would
smoosh poor Olivia when they went around the side.
So needless to say that was basically the end of the night haha.

Overall the kids had a blast and B was already asking to go again when we left.

Mall Of America

Two weeks ago I went away to MN for training with my new job.
The only outing I did outside of work was to the Mall Of America.

This was my first time to MN so I was a tourist and took pictures.
The mall is 4 floors, the bottom being an aquarium.(which I didn't see)
So it was sort of like Towson Town Center but bigger.
It had just about every store you could think of, or had ever been too!
(including a store just selling bean bag chairs...)

In addition it had a really really neat Nickelodeon amusement park.
B would have LOVED it!
After watching 2 months of that channel i think *i* was a little too excited for my own good.
