Easter 2012

Holy cow I am up to date on the blog for the first time this year!!!
Don't get too excited I'm sure once the baby comes I'll be behind again. :)

Here's some pictures from Easter (once again holidays i never take any)

It was really cool seeing all 4 baskets up.
I've always thought 4 was a good number :)
order (Brandon, Lily, Mommy, Daddy)

That sneaky Bunny hid eggs all over the living room and Kitchen.
This I thought was very sneaky
(inside all his toy sets)

First thing he said when I woke him up (b/c we had church)
"EASTER EGG HUNT"

One of the last eggs he just couldn't find.
so we did the hot/cold game and he just stood where he's at and could NOT
find that red egg for the life of him.
So kenn took this picture below,
then showed him the picture and he saw it

All the eggs he found (4 had mario kart toys in them)

After he was done he yelled "THANK YOU EASTER BUNNY"
it was super cute :)

Easter at the Zoo

I decided with limited time for just Brandon & Mommy dates to take off on Good Friday.
We went to the MD zoo with some friends to enjoy the Easter activities.

at the entrance of the zoo
being a ham

we started at the Easter Egg hunt.
Although they were only allowed to get 5 eggs...
Brady & Brandon and the Bunnies

 The boys and an owl
Brandon and a chinchilla, which they wouldn't allow kids to touch
(I thought that was mean)
They boys by a neat old tree

B's absolutely favorite part of the zoo the lily pads

Chillin in the birds nest
The boys and Brady's sister Cali pretending to be asleep in the nest
 Our yearly picture
 The Goats

If you've ever been to this zoo its hard enough to see a lion...
We got to see BOTH, and NEXT to each other...

This chimp was putting his hand through the top and pulling the tree into the cage to get the leaves.
It actually always makes me sad to see them in there.
There was one walking around with a piece of clothing on his back like a scarf.
After he sat down he also fixed it from falling off...

Hamming it up for Mrs. Lisa

The boys each picked out a snake
Brandon actually plays with his almost every day in the living room.

Easter at the Club

We went for the Annual Easter Brunch at my Dad's Golf Club
Brandon actually watched the magician this year for the first time.
But his favorite thing is the egg hunt.
Last year he hardly got any eggs, but I spotted a section where no one was at.
So brandon got first dibbs and A LOT of eggs

and of course we can not leave until we hit some balls.
Unfortunately GrandRuss only brought Brandon's putter, so he had to make do

Brandon's 5th Birthday

We had Brandon's 5th birthday where it seems EVERYONE in his class has been having it.
The Big Vanilla Pool with  Mario Bros theme.
We had a good 15 kids from inside and outside school
Brandon had a blast, he stayed a good hour
after everyone left before we could talk him out of the pool.
I don't have too many pictures since I was doing crazy party mom stuff.

Day 4, last day at the park!

I'm sure at this point your just happy I finally finished Disney Pics
From Jan in mid April...

This was our last day at the parks so we went back to Magic Kingdom.
Brandon was super excited at the bus stop.
He even wore his ears...
until we got on the bus and that was it.

He was dancing to the Mexican music
and kept telling me to take pictures of him next to things.
Him and the map of the hotel...
 brandon by a different pole...
 Then we were there!
We walked through the castle first since they close that down
when they start doing the shows.

I LOVE the tile inside Cinderella's Castle
on the other side of the castle Brandon trys to pull the sword from the stone.

We first got fast passes for Peter Pan since its so hard to get!
Then we got on the Winnie the Pooh Ride again,
where Brandon reminded daddy no to lose his sunglasses again.
Here are all the neat things to play with while waiting in line.

This is a bad picture of the construction of the little mermaid ride
in the new Fantasy land coming out any day now (since its April)

 Back to the cars...

Then we caught the street party parade.
Brandon made daddy go dance with him
(he's such a good sport)

 Brandon Break dancing with Timon

 Conga Line with Mr. Freeze
(notice brandon kept his distance still)
He danced for the WHOLE parade/party.
It was awesome having all the characters out there with the kids.
Then we got to go to the favorite Peter Pan ride
 And the most favorite ride....
 (It's a small world.)
He LOVES that clock. i wonder if they sell one that looks like it...

Then we got on the people mover
(which i don't think I've ever been on)

 Then there was another parade..
Which Brandon demanded we see
Luckily we could sit on the ground although we were very smashed.

Daddy & Brandon did Aladdin's magic Carpet
(I don't think i am allowed on that pregnant)

Then we went over to Tom Sawyer Island.
I let Daddy do the big climbing
 Jungle Cruise
 Castle at night
being the last night I wanted to do something special
so I booked another neat event.
This was a "dessert party" in the Tomorrow land Terrace
where you got front row seats for the fireworks.
(I am pretty sure this is where kenn and I watched them when we went 5yrs ago,
clearly Disney saw the profit in it and made it there own)

There were only about 50 people that did it.
Really nice when you've been elbow to elbow all day

So we loaded up on the dessert buffet
our table's view as we ate.
So amazing

we watched all the fireworks and normally we would just leave like everyone else.
But Brandon magically remembered there was something we did last time,
that we hadn't done yet...
"Mickey's Philharmagic"
The park wasn't closed for another hour and we figured we'd just be stuck in line
waiting for the bus so we decided to live by the seat of our pants and go.

Brandon & Daddy with the 3D glasses waiting for the doors to open for the next show

Brandon getting his second wind, and dancing with me while waiting

After the 3D movie, we went over for one last ride...
the cars in the dark.
I tried to take a picture but no luck with the distance i had to stand from them.
I also surprised him with a Sorcerer Mickey that lit up when they came back.
It really was a magical way to end the night. we walked out with little crowd and got right on the bus.

The next day I had to go to work crazy early.
Picture i took walking to the meeting.

Brandon and Kenn had the morning to themselves to play on the hotel playground
and arcade. (brandon said they had a blast)
So it made for an easy morning for them to make the transition of leaving FL
and flying home by themselves.
I was really worried Brandon would freak, but he did great!
I was also thankful kenn could handle ALL the luggage for them....

I  had meetings Tuesday, Weds, Thurs and Friday.
Weds evening we were able to go out to a park with an evening pass.
I ended up going out to Epcot with some people from our IT and Marketing department.
Most of them had never been there. So it was 2 other people and myself as the "experts"
We ate dinner at Via Napoli and had brick oven pizza. (2nd fav meal)

Thurs night we had our big dinner and award ceremony.
This is my team (my boss is in the middle)
We got to eat inside Epcot's China
where they had reserved the whole building for us.
after we got to watch fireworks from a secluded area.
Even though its still work it was a great trip!
We are all so very thankful we got the opportunity to go!
