Father's Day part 2

Father's Day #2

Since kenn had to work the first day we went back to the harbor

on Sunday so he could see the boats.

They bought a pass to go on 2 boats

One was the Constellation:

I took pictures from the dock, kenn has some from inside.

but as everyone knows I wanted to get everything off my camera

before the big event happens so i'm not too far behind.

And above it they had this really neat raven's statue!

 and rino one too :)

After our Morning in the Harbor we went to GrandMom's And GrandRuss's for

a cookout. It was a really good weekend!

Father's Day Part 1

After the boats we went and got daddy and went up to Annapolis to meet up

with Aunt Teresa, Olivia, Grand Pa and Mom Mom

for part one of the Father's Day celebrations!

First we took the kids swimming at the Marina's Pool.

 Then we got to go for a boat ride!

 Brandon loves helping drive the boat!

 The 3 Generations

 Everyone had a really great afternoon,

the kids really loved it when the boat went fast

and they got to look out the back of the boat at all the waves.

It was a perfect day!

Baltimore's Sailibration

My Cousins were in town for a wedding so we met up with them on Sat Am

in Baltimore (where they were staying) and went to the harbor

for the sailibration.

 Not the best picture but what are you going to do with

4 kids of different ages in the heat?

Miss. Cora, Connor, Brandon, Miss Maddie

 I promised Brandon we'd get on a boat,

although I didnt know the free ones would have a line a mile long.

So i prefered to pay to get on one without a line

(the constellation)

and i had to bend down to even walk on this level

We spent the morning with Aunt Courtney, Aunt Cathy and Aunt Mary,

then Uncle Bryan and Uncle Colin met up with us for lunch

It was a quick visit but we miss the Alabama gang so much its always worth it!

Water Park

We were lucky enough to get some discounted tickets to the water park,

so we spent a good chunk of Sat there.

Brandon of course LOVED it.

 b/c the morning isnt extremely hot and it wasn't official tourist season

we had the park pretty much to ourselves.

where you get into a sealed "container"

and the floor drops out from under you and you rocket through the enclosed slide.

He said the employee at the top had on gear to strap him to the rails

while getting kenn ready in the tube. it made him feel very safe about him falling off.

Boardwalk

If i didnt mention it before... brandon remembers everything we did last year.

One of those things he's been asking to do is go to the arcade at the boardwalk

These are his favorite things to do there...

We went the first night on friday, but after we stepped out of the arcade it began to rain.

So we ended up going back (to brandon's delight) sat night also

 The only ride he wanted to get on was the Big Ferris wheel

Golfing

Brandon and Kenn played 6 rounds of putt putt in 3 days...

that breaks last years record of 3 in 2 days.

And you know he would have played more if we'd let him.

 there is clearly a pattern with his posing

 keeping track of the scores himself

 getting down on the ground like a "Real golfer"

to make sure he knows where to putt

Ok you see the blond mermaid at the bottom.

Well we were up on those stairs behind her and I asked brandon what he was looking at

he responded "I was looking at the pretty girl"

i then figured out he meant the back of the fake mermaid...

poor boy, i had to break it to him

Our weekend at the beach

Last weekend we had our final family of 3 vacation.

Brandon requested the beach and we were lucky enough to find someone to let us use their condo.

The weather was in the high 70's and the water was cold,

 but the longer you were in the more adjusted you got.

Brandon is just a beach baby and went right into that water (as always)

so we followed.

 Daddy and Brandon played with a toss and net catch game

 then back in the water

 pretending to surf

 making daddy get in the water.

 he loved it even when the water was crashing on him.

(i also got in to my midsection)

He did not want to get off the beach until we reminded him of putt putt...
