Lily @ 10 Months

Lily turned 10 Months last Friday!
She is more and more coming into her little self.
She now lets you know when she does not like something
(via crying or throwing)
She is a super escape artist and mountain climber in her play area.
She is very picky with her food
Ex: does not like mushy things to pick up

Still in size 12 clothing, size 3 diaper still working on teeth 7 &8
She now "dances" to certain music
she also started to make this spitting/quaking noise that she does all the time now
if you make a "kiss" noise she can imitate it back to you.

She is going to be going back to daycare next week so i am very excited for her.
She loves other babies so I think socially this is the perfect time for her to go there.

sometimes she prefers to be fed her bottle like a lamb
playing with the little blanket i made her

caught in the act of mountain climbing

She is now standing on her own for 10-20 seconds
and occasionally take a step towards me!

Brandon's All Star Game

Brandon has been playing baseball about 3x every week for the last month.
We found out last week they have an All Star game where the coaches picked
3 kids from the 5/6yr old group and 3 from the 7 year old group.
(there are 13 kids on his team total)
and Brandon was selected to be in the game!

Before the game they had a competition to see which kid could:
Throw the farthest, run the fastest and hit the farthest.
We knew Brandon would not win any of these...
but he did really well and we are very proud of him.
After they had a game mixed of all the kids they got medals.
He did a very good job during the game
We are very proud of his growth during this, his first season playing!

(now if we could just work on not crying when he strikes out...)

DC Cherry Blossoms

I persuaded Kenn to take us to DC to see the Cherry Blossoms in bloom this year.
Every year we say we are going to go and never get to.
Finally this year we did! It was incredibly crowded (to be expected)
we ended up parking a good 30mins walk away.
We walked around the whole tidal basin, to the Lincoln Memorial, back around the basin through the Roosevelt Memorial back 30 mins to the car.
Brandon was a trooper and walked it all. (not that we didn't hear about it)
Kenn has all the pictures of course of Brandon and Lincoln since i did not see stroller access.

As we were walking we saw a random baseball field, and even though he was exhausted from walking
he somehow had enough energy to run the bases... go figure right?

Lily broke the law and tore off a branch...
This was one of the stretches of 80 degree weather, so Brandon learned sitting in-front of the water
cooled you down at the Roosevelt memorial

It was very nice having a spur of the moment day together as a family.
