Eleven Month Lily!

One More Month!
no more formula
no more bottles
no more babyfood
no more counting age by months
no more baby Lily!

Hard to believe that a year ago it was HOT, the power was going out
and we were preparing for Miss Lily's entrance into the world.

What is Lily up to now...
She stands like a CHAMP
she will stand forever! Now if you want her to walk to you...
She will lean and fall over.
Legs have not quite gotten the word to move.
She is back at daycare so eating all the normal food with 5 bottles a day
(which i am going to reduce starting tomorrow)
and 1 jar of babyfood  as an early dinner
(which i am swapping to pasta pickups next week)

She is in size 18mos shirts and 12mos shorts
Still in size 3 diapers, about to go into 4's.
She has 8 teeth now and likes to use them on crunchy and carb foods
She is super tall, she can reach her feet to the bottom of her high chair now.
Lily is also putting the ball into her dinosaur all on her own,
so the hand eye coordination is constantly improving.
She loves to dance, she is much more vocal/yelling when she's happy.
she is always a really happy baby!

She likes to crawl under her table..
sometimes she gets stuck and cant remember how to get out

putting the ball into the dinosaur

she loves her dolls!

While trying to capture her 11 month pictures she kept pulling off her sticker.
Good thing she only has 1 more left!

bye bye!

Zoo Two

When we went to the zoo with the 4C's we were using passes that were good all weekend.
So since we didn't have anything going on Monday and it was a long Memorial day weekend
we decided to go back with Daddy!

It wasn't crowded at all and the animals seemed to be out more

Brandon does this thing when there is someone ANYWHERE
that allows you to ask questions... he will think up as many questions as possible.
Man with the ostrich egg found that out.

playing with the monkey

Brandon had new sandals on that hurt his feet so Daddy ended up carrying him back to the tram.
It was a very nice relaxing trip!

Strawberry Picking 2013

We didn't get to go strawberry picking last year, due to my late pregnancy state and being busy.
So we made a point to make sure we got out there this year.
Funny thing was, it ended up being the one weekend where it was chilly!

Brandon had a great time regardless!

Love couch

" mom will you sit with me on the love couch?"
"You mean the love seat?"
" the love couch, so we can cuddle"
" yes it's called a love SEAT"
"Ohh a love C, C like Chisholm"
"Ok, whatever "
( the cuteness was too much to correct)

Zoo with the Moorhouse Family

I was so excited we got to spend the day at the Zoo with the 4 C's and my mother.
Brandon and Connor are the most adorable cousins!!
They kept randomly holding hands, it made me melt.

We were inside a tunnel and there was a curtain,
so the boys would jump out of the curtain and the girls were giggling like crazy.
they did this about 20x and all 4 had the biggest smiles on their faces

at lunch my mom was holding Corben.. Oh the Smiles!! so adorable

Brother Love

Then Lily grabbed his hand... double melting~

It was so nice to get to spend a few hours with the Moorhouse crew!
The zoo was a little crowded when we first got there with a million school trips,
but after lunch it was wide open and the kids had a blast.

Brandon's HairCut

Brandon decided he wanted to have a haircut
"where you can see each hair stand up"
aka... like daddy's.

I almost cried when he buzzed it off.
I keep hoping he will change his mind and ask to have his hair grow out.
I have a bad feeling that's never going to happen.

Baptism for Hines

My childhood friend Leticia asked me to be her son's Godmother.
I was honored to do this for them of course!
Here are a few pictures from May 19th, my mother was nice enough to watch lily during the mass.
Hines was almost 7 mos old :)

Grandmom and Lily outside of the Church

Baseball 2013

Brandon's team got to go to the little league day at the park where they walked the field,
Brandon got put on the big screen a few times during the dance parts of the game
AND got to fist bump the players!
Kenn and GrandRuss were nice enough to take him to the game while I  was at a Baptism

meeting the players!

They finished up the season and Brandon was really doing a great job. His last game he made it on base all 3 times he got to hit, and scored one run. The coaches really wanted him to try out for the summer league but i didn't want to do a travel team so early in his "career"

They had an end of summer party yesterday at his coaches house where they played in an awesome pool, ate pizza and ice cream cake and got their trophies. The majority of the kids are moving to Kid pitch next year because they are older then him. The coach said he would put in a word if brandon wanted to move up, but I would rather him stay with his age group and at coach pitch for one more year. but we are looking forward to having the coach be his basketball coach come fall.
