Bird Day

The other morning i was letting the dogs out and when i came upstairs brandon was wearing kens baseball hat, so i knew he finally was ready for his own hat. (before he refused to keep a baseball style hat on) Luckily my parents bought him one when they went to Disney a year or so ago so i pulled it out and he loved it! Here are some pictures of him in it.

Yesterday was a very sports filled day! First Kenn opened b's birthday gift from Nicole and Madison and they played baseball.

Then in the afternoon Aunt Gail had bought us tickets to the Ravens Annual Fan Fest (which this is the 2nd time b's gone to it) in addition when you bought tickets to the fan fest you got free tickets to the O's game that night. We had a great time! Aunt Gail loves to spoil us!

After playing in the stadium we walked over to the other stadium... Where we took brandon to his first O's Game! They played Texas, who beat us... but that's ok we had a great time!

He spent a lot of time sitting in his own chair eating animal crackers. He also liked to get on and off of the chair since it folded up. He also enjoyed the two older boys who sat behind us and were very silly.

It rained a couple of times while we were there, just little sprinkles though. Brandon would look up and get the rain in his face and laugh. This is b reaching for the rain

We ended up leaving around 9pm, which was just about the 7th inning, he did a great job, i was so proud!!! This is us on the way out of the stadium with B's new hat and Oriole Bird. (whom brandon actually didn't really want to hold)

Well we have lots of pictures from Longwood Gardens and the DC Zoo that i'm waiting for Kenn to give me, so as soon as they're done i'll put them up!
Oh and on a side note i made my first quilt! Its for my friends baby shower next month, I can't wait to give it to her!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!

We had a great day today! But first I want to start out with Sat morning when Brandon and I went to dye Easter eggs over grandmoms! Yes, I know Brandon is in a skeleton shirt, it was the only black shirt i didn't care if he got dye on...

Brandon had a great time! We dyed eggs, colored on eggs and put stickers on eggs! He had one major casualty, b/c he dropped it off the counter when putting stickers on it, and then he cracked two together but they somehow survived. Many thanks to Lisa for buying the Cars kit, it was great!

Easter Morning

First brandon got up and opened his "presents". He had an egg hunt in the living room (which he LOVED) and then he and daddy set up his new train system which he played with until we went to church. B made it through the sermon and then was no good so Kenn took him outside. Afterwards Kens Father, Stepmother and step brother came over for homemade waffles (kenn made them from scratch!)

Then naptime for all 3 of us! (Kenn was out at a CD release show last night and i stayed up baking a carrot cake from scratch and watching the 10 commandments for the first time)

Then Kenns mom and Sister and cousin Olivia came over to play.

Then we were off to my parents for dinner with them and my grandmother.

Here's B with his great MomMom as he had another egg hunt at my parents.

He found the eggs pretty quick so when he wasn't looking we just kept rehiding them. i think he found the egg in the same plant at least 5 times.

I finally was able to get a picture of brandon in this very special chair. This chair is over 50 yrs old (sorry mom). This was my mothers chair when she was a toddler, then mine (i'll have to put up the infamous picture of me in just a diaper watching TV in it) Then James's chair and finally Brandon. He loves to rock it, I'm waiting for him to flip it though...
