Brandon went to the Pediatrician last week for his 3 yrs check up.
He was 39.5" so 90 percentile
and 33.6Lbs which is the 70 percentile
so as Kenn puts it "A tall skinny kid"
He did amazing at the Drs office, she asked if he could pedal a bike (since LAST year)
Asked if he knew his colors and shapes, I said yes
then pointed to a sign in the office and had him identify all the letters :)
She said his speech was wonderful and fluid.
She asked if he could put on his own clothes... which at the time i wasnt sure.
So since then kenn and i have been working on that and yes he can take on and off his clothing for the most part. That actually leads to a funny story.
Kenn wanted to make sure he could put on his clothing so he said "do pants go here"
and then placed the pants on b's head. B said no and showed them where they went.
Well since then b has made up a song "pants on the head".
He repeats that over and over in a sing song voice.
well Sat my friend Lisa and i had the kids at Kohls and b was hyped up on the free
Ritas we had right before we went there so while we were checking out he started
singing his song... well b/c he wasn't pronouncing "pants" very clear
it sounded like he was saying "piss on the head". So the check out girl
gave me a wide eyed look and said "What is he saying???"
I then corrected her embarrassingly....
Well back to the Drs... only thing we need to work on is him eating more veggies.
We also ran out of pull ups so B started nights without them on Friday night and hasn't
had any problems. (he really wasn't wetting the pull ups but we had them)
The Dr then gave him a shot that he didn't get last year b/c they ran out.
All i said was "ok your going to get a pinch" she gave him the shot he looked
down at her like "WTF did you just do" and that was it!
He is so good!!! Then we went to the park haha.
(where he experienced his second peeing outside next to a tree)
After he told me "I made the tree very happy"
Now that the weather is beautiful we spent damn near ALL of our time outside.
B's been going on daily walks/bike rides with me around the neighborhood.
Going to parks, and playing in the yard with his many sports paraphernalia.
Kenn has also been working very hard he completely re-landscaped our front yard the last 2 weekends and then put compro/grass seed and mulch on the new garden.
THEN he built shelves in his shed so he could store more things.
B and I picked out flowers for the garden and I planted them.
I have to say it looks amazing! We need one more big tree/plant
to put in the center and then i'll post pictures :)
Otherwise just getting ready for the outside fun trips, DC and Balt Zoo,
outing with thomas at the B & O railroad, childrens museum in Philly and long-wood gardens!
We can't wait!
Here are some of the pics from B's new school pictures taken in March!
