Emma & Brandon

Kenn was wonderful enough to watch Ms.Emma & B while Lisa and I and several other friends went to CheeseCake Factory for lunch and some shopping... 4hrs later these 2 pictures came about!

They played with the binoculars and would say "i see you"

they are so getting married...

oh and here is a awesome pic kenn took at the aquarium that i left off

Aquarium Trip, May

Last month we went to the Balt. Aquarium as a very late birthday gift to Aunt Gail. Back in Dec we gave her tickets to go with B to the aquarium, and she never cashed them in. So since we knew she was going to be having surgery soon we hurried up to use the tickets

B with the bubbles
With the picture wall he went down it naming everything on there
He would point out the striped fish

*My favorite part*

Brandon loved the little tortoiseB, Gail and I at the dolphin show

The AMAZING jellyfish section

This is brandon "eating" the jellyfish above. (jelly comes from a jelly fish of course!)

I just love the kid's face in the background. Oh and b's looking at a jellyfish too
Daddy & B looking at the fountain outside (the statues are dolphins)Looking at the duck!Us leaving the aquarium, taken seconds before b sneezed in my hair.

B and daddy inside the parking garage, where brandon would duck and squeeze his eyes so he wouldn't hit his head on the low parts. it was adorable.

Dutch Wonderland!

Wednesday my mother, B and I went to Dutch wonderland in Lancaster! http://www.dutchwonderland.com/

I have been wanting to take B there b/c my mom had taken me when i was a child and i knew it was perfect for little kids. Although i was a little weary on how Brandon would like all the rides. Due to all the crazy weather we picked weds and it was grey all day and low 60's, which honestly i would prefer to hot sweaty 80/90's. It rained an hr before we left. so all and all great weather!

The beginning of our day checking to see what he could get on. (he's an emerald)

This is a picture of his first ride of the day. turned out to be a HORRIBLE choice by me. I didn't know i wasn't allowed to get on until we were loading in. so brandon went in fine (although this face says otherwise). It was an oval with these little cars, little did i know the tops of the oval whip around very fast. An added bonus he began on a whipping end... so he cried. stopped in the middle, then cried again. I felt horrible. the woman next to me tried to console me and said her 3 started off the exact same way... So the next ride was a little train i got to push while he helped steer. he was still very upset about the first ride so he cried during that one. Finally the 3rd one was the "monster Trucks" where there were 6 monster truck cars, he could drive his and i sat behind in the truck. This he liked, at this point we went on twice in a row. Below is my view in the truck of him driving.

Next we went to stay on the driving theme, and they had those old time cars (that are gas with a big pedal) so he drove and i did the gas since he was way too short for that.

Then it was time for the Thomas the Train show... very um we'll just be nice and say "lame". I had to take a picture so everyone could see it. It was basically these 2 people dancing and singing around Thomas. B watched it and ate animal crackers he seemed to like it. (the next day at daycare that's all he could talk about)

Mommy and B with Thomas

i took this by accident with my camera (i had it on zoom) but i kinda like it.

Then the three of us went on a boat ride. This is b steering the boat

Duke the Dragon, whom b did not particularly like...

This is us on another boat ride where brandon ducked his head so he didn't "hit" it on the bridge we went under.

Feeding the Ducks and Geese. (at this point is where it was beginning to rain)

The Carousel

Mackin on the princess

So we decided with the rain we better wrap it up, so we went back to the 2 favorites.. We got to the monster trucks and Brandon decided he wanted the yellow truck. (yellow is his favorite color) well its first come first serve... so we went on 3x before we got the Yellow truck. He actually was beginning to melt down and cry b/c he wanted it. (it was after 1pm and no nap) so this is him finally in the yellow truck. he looks ecstatic doesn't he? BTW we went on a 4th time too before i said we HAVE to go.

So the last ride of the day, back to the old time cars... We ended up going twice. we were getting drenched by this point but he was having such a blast i didn't have the heart to say no to the 2nd time. Reading his new Diego book on the way home.

This is the picture we got from the last ride, in the frame that b decorated at Justin's birthday party the weekend before (this way i get two birds with one stone)

B's adorable face that night at home! He had a great time! the next day when kenn picked him up from daycare he was told by 2 separate teachers that all brandon could talk about was "thomas the train, grandmom, mommy, yellow car!"
