Christmas Time is here again~

Kenn did a great job doing our Christmas card pictures as always
(BTW I made the box in case you were impressed)

My parents Golf Club had the annual brunch with Santa last weekend.
Normally Brandon is not very excited by anyone dressed up.
He refused to see the Easter Bunny at all last year.
When I told him we would be seeing Santa he told me he didn't want to.
I told him Lily hadn't gotten to meet him yet, he assured me she would cry.
But he knew he had no choice. Plus the one at the club gives gifts...

We got in line and my Dad kept him busy and he didn't seem worried at all.
When it came time to meet him he wasn't frightened at all!

Lily on the other hand had already sat through Church without a nap.
While in line she got very fussy and then completely passed out
I even tried to wake her up right before we met him, nope she was out cold.
Santa asked him what he wanted. He said "walkie talkies and where's my water game"
Santa asked if he had been a good boy this year.
Brandon stopped, and started to look back at us.
It was hilarious. We assured him he could say yes.

After Brandon told me secretly that Santa was his best friend.
He got a book about 2 boys playing baseball and it came with a talking ball.
He liked it, the ball frankly scares me. (the voice)

He also got to make the annual gingerbread cookie
that he gets excited about, makes, eats and then remembers he doesn't like it.
The Tree and stockings are up, all we need are the outside lights (should be this weekend)
and the Chisholm family is ready for Christmas!

Great Wolf Lodge Dec 2012

I saw a good deal online for the Great Wolf Lodge a few months back...
We had such a good time when we went 2 yrs ago in Dec
That I knew that was the only month of the year I would splurge to go.
We decided to invite Olivia and Aunt Teresa, and she brought along her boyfriend and his 2 kids

Since it's in Williamsburg I also get to sneak in a quick trip to see the Christmas Decorations.
We got to eat at the Tavern and Brandon picked out a old game
that involves math and numbers and loves it.

We checked in around 3pm and got ready to go to the pool!
This was Lily's first time swimming!
I stuck her in this little play area (that we got kicked out of once)
it was just the perfect size so she could hit the water fall
and play with her feet in the water.
She loved it. She would take naps on me in the water park,
and when she was cranky i'd even stick her in the water and she'd stop.

Olivia going down the little slide
Brandon going down the little slide being silly
Brandon on the Lily Pads (he hopped like a frog across)
Brandon loved the mid-grade slides and spent most of his time there.
After Dinner, Lily, Austin, Brandon, Rachel and Olivia
After Dinner brandon went to do the MagicQuest game there.
Basically you purchase a wand and then there are interactive games around the whole hotel.
you get quests and use your wand to locate the clues. He had a blast.

The next AM Lily woke up bright and early as normal.
So the 4 of us had breakfast.
 The waterpark before it opens

Then it was back to the game.
He finished all the levels and is now a "Magi"
he didnt get a chance to dive into goodness knows how many more challenges.
Because the pool had opened back up.
Using his want to make the crystals light up

 Lily saying "aaaaaaaaa"

Brandon's other favorite area was playing basketball.
He could touch the ground, it was deep still.
he really held his own with the much older kids playing
We left sat afternoon around 3pm got lunch in the car and went home.
Both kids were exhausted, but it was a very nice opening to the holidays together as a family.

Adventure Aquarium-November

Our Season passes for the Adventure Aquarium expired this month.
So we took one more trip up there.

The boys with the Philly background.

 Touching a Blue Lobster

We really love this aquarium. If we could just move it to MD it would be perfect

Lily 5 Months- Nov 2012

Lily is now 5 Months Old!
Just like Brandon, I swear I love every month more than the last.
She can sit up with assistance very well, so I think she will do it on her own soon.
Still in size 2 diapers and 3-6 month clothing.
I am not sure her size or weight, but she's able to touch now in her bouncer.
She likes to blow bubbles A LOT
she also babbles and giggles more and more.
She is really a perfect baby. she only cries when she is hungry or tired.
She is still on her sleep schedule and goes to bed around 7pm.

Brandon and Lily playing footsy.

 She loves that bunny!
Her Ducky is also a very favorite toy on the play mat.
The elephant on the right she likes to kick to hear the noise while she plays with the duck.
 Lily had her first Thanksgiving

Daddy Copying Lily sucking her thumb

We brought out the Christmas decorations, lily loved the snow globe that moves
Lily also had her first solid food this month!
She had rice cereal and formula. she likes it enough.
After a week i'm still not sure how much she is swallowing.
but she isn't screaming and spitting it across the room so i keep with it once a day.

I love her little personality coming out with each day and I am cherishing the extra time I get with her right now.

Lily's Baptism

Lily was Baptised Oct 28, 2012
She didn't cry once and slept through most of the ceremony.
When they poured the Holy water on her head the 3rd time she did jump,
but then went back to sleep. She was an Angel.
