I saw a good deal online for the Great Wolf Lodge a few months back...
We had such a good time when we went 2 yrs ago in Dec
That I knew that was the only month of the year I would splurge to go.
We decided to invite Olivia and Aunt Teresa, and she brought along her boyfriend and his 2 kids
Since it's in Williamsburg I also get to sneak in a quick trip to see the Christmas Decorations.
We got to eat at the Tavern and Brandon picked out a old game
that involves math and numbers and loves it.
We checked in around 3pm and got ready to go to the pool!
This was Lily's first time swimming!
I stuck her in this little play area (that we got kicked out of once)
it was just the perfect size so she could hit the water fall
and play with her feet in the water.
She loved it. She would take naps on me in the water park,
and when she was cranky i'd even stick her in the water and she'd stop.
Olivia going down the little slide
Brandon going down the little slide being silly
Brandon on the Lily Pads (he hopped like a frog across)
Brandon loved the mid-grade slides and spent most of his time there.
After Dinner, Lily, Austin, Brandon, Rachel and Olivia
After Dinner brandon went to do the MagicQuest game there.
Basically you purchase a wand and then there are interactive games around the whole hotel.
you get quests and use your wand to locate the clues. He had a blast.
The next AM Lily woke up bright and early as normal.
So the 4 of us had breakfast.
The waterpark before it opens
Then it was back to the game.
He finished all the levels and is now a "Magi"
he didnt get a chance to dive into goodness knows how many more challenges.
Because the pool had opened back up.
Using his want to make the crystals light up
Lily saying "aaaaaaaaa"
Brandon's other favorite area was playing basketball.
He could touch the ground, it was deep still.
he really held his own with the much older kids playing
We left sat afternoon around 3pm got lunch in the car and went home.
Both kids were exhausted, but it was a very nice opening to the holidays together as a family.
